Posted at 3:32 PM EST (2032 GMT) Jan. 25th, 2008 -- Kings Island joins its sister parks also playing the name game, with some ride name changes of its own.
Like Carowinds and California’s Great America, Top Gun has been renamed “Flight Deck”, The Italian Job: Stunt Track has taken the name “Backlot Stunt Coaster” like its cousin at Kings Dominion. Face/Off has taken the same name as its cousin in California, going by "Invertigo" now. Tomb Raider: The Ride has also taken the name “The Crypt” like Kings Dominions version did earlier. The only holdout of the former Paramount Parks to change ride names as part of the conversion over to Cedar Fair, is Canada’s Wonderland. The Canadian park’s website still shows no changes.
