Posted at 1:08 PM EDT (1708 GMT) Mar. 10th, 2008 -- The results are in and while the number one and two spots in Mitch Hawker’s poll aren’t quite a shock (Superman – Ride of Steel and Expedition GeForce respectively speaking) the third spot was taken by a relatively unknown South Korean coaster.
Eagle's Fortress (also known as Eagle Fortress), a fifteen-year-old Arrow suspended coaster at Everland park received what may be a (very) controversial third place finish. The rest of the top ten pretty much stayed put, while maybe moving a notch or two up or down. Cedar Point’s new creation, Maverick, placed tenth, Busch Gardens Europe’s Griffon placed thirteenth, while Dollywood’s new coaster Mystery Mine only came in 95th.
