News: Playland to put an emphasis on safety

Mar. 27th, 2008 -- After a few accidents in the past few years, Playland Park plans on being more proactive in warning guests of dangers of not being safe at an amusement park.

Among the plans include staff passing out literature to guests entering the park and improving staff training. Other improvements are being implemented that were recommended in audits of the park's operations.
