Mar. 28th, 2004 -- Jerry Couch, owner of LeSourdsville Lake since 2000, has expressed no interest in dealing with a Nebraska man interested in buying the amusement park.
Carl Jennings, owner of Peony Park in Nebraska, said he contacted Couch about his interest. However, Couch said on Monday he has "had no dealings with Mr. Jennings." Jennings expressed interest in picnic lands near the park because picnics are "where the money is made." LeSourdsville Lake has been closed since 1999, with the exception of one shorter-than-normal operating season in 2002. For more information, visit The Miami Herald.
