Jun. 19th, 2008 -- Evel Knievel, the newest coaster at Six Flags St. Louis, opened today.

The Great Coasters International wooden coaster cost $7 million and features 16 hills and 14 crossovers. The Millennium Flyer trains are red, white and blue, the same color scheme Knievel wore during jumps.

The queue features videos of his jumps and a timeline of his career. Knievel died in November.

The Even Knievel coaster is 82 feet tall, has an 80-foot drop and goes 50 mph.

Appaently nobody told them what a good POV video is supposed to be like. The company's that do this are a little bit off... I can't really speak for the GP, but I hate it when POVs are cut up into tiny pieces. Either show the people on the ride or show the POV or show offride footage. PICK ONE AND STICK WITH IT!!!

From what I could tell from the crappy POV, it looks like a neat ride.
