I feel these things take away from everyone else who has paid good money to enter the park. It's unfair and it sucks!

Try to apply this policy to any other comodity.

Emergenct room wait = 2 hours, but if you pay an extra $500 we'll see you right away.

Grocery store wait 10 people but if you pay and entra $5 you can enter the short line

since when did it become exceptable to treat the rich well and screw everybody else?

I personally don't see a problem with this. This is a legitamate way for parks to earn some extra income in a way that benefits those that are willing to spend a little bit more in the park. If that means that we need to wait an extra 20 minutes in line with the other 95% of park goers, I say go for it.

I mean at $24.95, lets say about 500-1,000 visitors visit the park and purchase the pass...that's an extra $12,475-$24,950 per day in additional earnings. Whatever helps the parks!

Hmmm, good business strategy - yes, but why stop there. Parks should charge an extra $5/ride if you want the first or last seat on coasters - $10 dollars if your name is Steve. Want a straw with your $3 coke - that'll be 50 cents. Just kidding, fast pass is a good idea if it is used for load balancing, that way it benefits everyone, not just the riders who get to the front of the line. With that said, it can't be used on low capacity rides - say less than 600 ppl/hr, otherwise your 20 minute wait could turn into an hour.
