News: Carowinds hints at snakes

Aug. 13th, 2008 -- Carowinds, much like Holiday World, is dropping hints of its plans for 2009.

Within the past few weeks a strange box appeared outside the park with script saying things like “Caution Live Animal” and “Live Reptiles."

Now something that looks like an image of a crate with the text “Some worship these, others fear them …” has started appearing on the park’s Web site.

Some speculate the new attraction could reuse the old Kings Island name of King Cobra.

Roller coater track that appears to be from the old Head Spin from Geauga Lake has started appearing in the parking lot next to Thunder Road.

Nothing has officially been announced yet by the park, so we’ll just have to watch and wait and see what slithers into the park next year.
