I rode with him maybe 10 times the day he got 84 rides. He said his previous best was in the 60s. That was a fantastic day at the park. I got 15 rides on MF and 10 on Maverick that day.
He's a fun guy.

Congrats to him, but me personally I'll never understand the purpose of marathoning one roller coaster so many times. After a few times you no longer doing it for the enjoyment. I mean how can you really? Yes, that is my opinion. Regardless, congrats Bob. Despite my opinion, it still must be great to be a coaster fanatic at that age.

That's a goal. Too bad this wasn't for charity.

I'm not 70 yet, Leo. And I've only done Raptor more than 1,000 times (not even in a season).

There's another guy Lance, who I don't know if he did it or not, but he was suppose to hit 1,000 rides on Maverick last weekend. Also it's suppose to be on Youtube, but I haven't found it yet.

Thats amazing. I would love to ride 1000 times but i would not wait in line to do it. Not even if it was 45 min long.

Let's do the math. If he waited 30 minutes for each ride it would take about 20 days of waiting in line. If he waited 15 minutes for each ride it would take about 10 days of waiting. But if the guy likes what he is doing, he probably doesn't mind the wait. He probably likes talking to the people in line also, so the waits would not be that boring. So, congratulations on your record riding and keep on having fun. Isn't that what life is all about?

Update to my above comment: Lance will be attempting to get number 1,000 next weekend. I rode number 999 with him yesterday... Hopefully I'll be riding number 1,000 with him too.

Haha, I rode and talked to this guy last weekend! He's hilarious, I see him every time I go to CP in May and OCtober.
