Dec. 3rd, 2008 -- Hershey, Pa - Hersheypark was honored as having the Best Employee Retention and Rewards Program in its attendance category at the 28th Annual World Waterpark Association (WWA) Symposium & Trade Show, which was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in early November.
The SWIM! (Superior Waterpark Inspiration and Motivation) Award was presented for the Park’s efforts in recruiting and retaining lifeguards at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be recognized by our peers in the waterpark industry,” said R. Matthew Brace, Hersheypark director of ride operations. “Everyone worked as a team to win this award for Hersheypark.”
