Posted at 11:25 PM EDT (0325 GMT) Apr. 7th, 2004 -- Two trains collided on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland theme park over the weekend after the ride closed for the day. This comes just months after a derailing accident that left one person dead.
Cal-OSHA ordered the famous Anaheim theme park to retrain two employees who were running the ride at the time. The employees left a train on the track and rebooted the ride's program, resetting the locations of the trains. Those actions lead to the collision. For more information: NBC-4 TV Los Angeles, CA
