As you can see, Cedar Point dominated our awards for the second straight year. Millennium Force walked away with best steel coaster for the second straight year, while Top Thrill Dragster had an impressive debut despite many problems in its first season. Classic woodie The Beast knocked off 2002 Best Wooden Coaster Ghostrider. Islands of Adventure also had a strong showing, with Spider-man winning Best Non-coaster, Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls winning Best Water Ride, while the park won Best Theme and finished second in the Best Park category. Thanks to the thousands of voters who participated this year!

I wasn’t too surprised that Top Thrill Dragster won Best New Roller Coaster because there weren’t too many good new coasters last year. I am surprised that Top Thrill Dragster took second place in Best Steel Coaster; I would think there are several coasters that are better.

Hmmm.....interesting results when compared to amusementtoday.com

How could CP place 4th for best themed park? Theming? What theming??

Power Tower just sucks. I can't believe that made any list. An elevator ride to the 56th floor of Key Tower is more frightening than Power Tower.

However I'm not suprised as to what I'm seeing here. Almost exactly what I would expect.
