News: Four injured on Dorney Log Flume

May. 19th, 2004 -- Four guests at Dorney Park suffered minor injuries on Sunday after an incident on the Thunder Creek Mountain log flume ride. The ride will remain closed until an investigation is complete.

Dorney Park was closed to the public on Sunday and was being rented out by a company. The Allentown, Pa amusement park will not release any details on the accident until an internal investigation is completed. The ride will be closed until Pennsylvania inspectors re-inspect the log flume and clear it for operation.

Everything seems to be going wrong this year. It really sucks that there has been all these incidents already.

^ Well, the accident did happen at 4:20, so....

My guess is that two boats collided. If that's the case, then I'm curious as to why. I can't wait to read a followup story.

Or maybe the boat went to fats and the water in the splash down pool was to klow so the boat hit a turn hard and like bangged the people up... it happened at KBF and has happened at HP

Yeap, the Theme Park season is starting off the season just right. Boy i can't wait to hear bout what accidents are going to happen next month. LOL.
