Splashin' Safari will be closed on this Thursday, May 27. A large portion of the area is flooded. However, Holiday World will be open as usual to the public.
All non-season pass admissions will include a free ticket to return when both parks are open. Holiday World expects at least part of Splashin' Safari to re-open on Friday.

How did the park flood? like did some water pipe snap? or do they have a river in the park?..oh wait dont they have a lake too?

Yeah, something else must have happened because I haven't heard of flooding in this area.
I'm surprised SFGAm hasn't flooded, the area near the park is under tons of water. The people haven't been able to go out for a while.

I'm not surprised the park was flooded. Several massive storms came through this region recently and caused tons and tons of damage.
Nice of HW to give free tickets away. Do you think big chain amusement parks would do something like this???

Yeah, there have been three days of pounding storms in this area, as well as where HW is too. Flooding has happened all over, so I'm not surprised they had to close it for a day.

According to the website, Splashin' Safari will also be closed Friday and Saturday, again to to flooding, which makes sense because we had some more MAJOR storms move through here last night.
