A few things have happened at ThrillNetwork over the weekend that many should be aware about. There was an Open Forum chat on Sunday where the staff and members discussed various ideas for the site. In case you missed the chat, here is what we proposed:
1. ThrillNetwork does need help financially. The site comes out of the staff's own pockets, and is not paid for by any company. To help expand bandwidth, and make the site faster, a new server is required. To help TN, you can purchase goods at the TN store. There was also a proposition to institute a donation fund. We will keep you updated on ways you can help financially. 2. A few new rules have been thought about for the boards. Discussions may now take on its own course respectively. Blatant topic changes will not be accepted. Also, the members now have more say in what is appropriate and what isn't. 3. We need your help! ThrillNetwork is always encouraging members to go out and find news, expand the database, and get the latest rumors. Help the staff make this site even better! We are working on expand our photo database. Submit all your coaster and park photos to the database here! Update for Database: We are not just looking for coasters in the database anymore. We are updating to include non-coaster attractions. If you know anything about your home park rides, or rides at other parks, help us out and update the database. Remember, everything must be as accurate as possible! That was basically raised at the Open Forum on Sunday night. If you want more details, or a transcript, contact a ThrillNetwork staff member. We encourage members to attend future meetings. The members at TN are the most valuable part of the community. We are always open to listen to you! Upcoming events: Think you know politics? Come and discuss political related topics at the Political Wednesday chat in coasterchat. There are only 2 more days left in round 2 of the Official No Limits Contest! Make sure your creation meets the deadline. You can also compete in the July contest. Click here for the details. If you have any questions about the Official No Limits Contest, just ask any staff member. Affiliate Update: PKICentral.com has added 200 photos from a behind scenes tour of The Beast, and Son of Beast at Paramount's Kings Island. Photos include the Beast, Son of Beast, King Cobra, Wild Animal Safari Remains, and other enthisuast related events. You can view the update at PKICentral. Thanks to Dane186 for the Affiliate Update! <>< >
