News: Body found on the beach near Cedar Point

Jul. 15th, 2004 -- On Saturday July 10, Steven Thomas Wallace of Weyers, VA. jumped off a sail boat near the beach at Cedar Point and dissappeared into Lake Erie. Rescurers searched the area until 6:15 P.M. and found nothing.

Monday evening, around 7:45pm, a body was found by a woman and her grandchildren while they walked on the beach. The body was taken to the Erie County Coroner's Office and has not been identified.
