You can't get hurt just by being bumped at that low a speed. This guy is full of crap.

Ahh, hence the modern day American. Sue for anything to get money. This guy is full of crap, im reminded of sitcoms in which their car is bumped and they fake whiplash.

Truly horrible where this country is headed.

It does kind of rock you when someone bumps you but you shouldnt have back and neck injuries because of it. If that happened to me i wouldnt sue i would let cedar point have the money to invest in a new coaster. LOL. That is crazy. I sue mcdonalds because i am fat and i choose to eat it everyday, its just like that.

Why do people always try to sue the park when some thing happens to them.

Some people would sue the inventor of the fork for having a fat a** if they could. He sounds like one of them.

*rolls eyes*, that is rediculous. How is the park at fault for this? It seems their many "NO BUMPING!" signs everywhere would prove them not at fault.

I wouldn't doubt it if the person that bumped into him knew him, so he could sue the park. :-) Nah, j/k. But this is really stupid.

You guys don't know what you're talking about. It's not how hard you get hit, it's HOW you get hit and how you are sitting. My wife is a doctor, and I've heard some crazy stories. Everything from a little kid who lost a kidney from a go cart colision to a man becoming paralized from pushing too hard on the crapper!! No lie! You are way off base. However unlikely, this man very well may have sustained an injury from that colision. The back and spine are wierd.

Now...does that make it Cedar Point's fault? Absolutely not.

This has got to be bogus. Those cars don't go fast enough to give you back problems.

It may not be Cedar Point's fault, but will he win the lawsuit? Sadly, likely chance he will.

M_Force_2002 your right.seems like somethings fishy with it.besides there are no bumping signs on the cars.so its hard to tell who will win that one.and your right DEJA_VU rules.why do they do that.its like car accidents.when some one hits you and you arent hurt they say they are till the cops ask if you need to go to the hospital.than say they arent.insurance companys look for insurance fraud.but alot of times they are really hurt.alot i been hearing that people go on workers comp.when they say they are hurt but they arent.they are working their job and getting money from the goverment to get the things they want.till they find out and take them to jail cause they arent really hurt.what people wont due to get money these days.

Hmmmmm. They should ban those antique cars before someone really gets hurt. It's just a matter of time. Does Intamin make antique cars??

Fishy or not, regarding the medical expenses, perhaps he can only get so much, so the $25K is to help bridge the gap. I don't know. Does sound fishy though.
