News: Six Flags Worlds of Adventure attendance woes

Dec. 22nd, 2003 -- For the second straight season, attendance is down at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Aurora, Ohio.

The 7% decrease in attendance can be blamed on three things: poor weather, no new major additions to the park, and a highly-marketable new roller coaster at nearby Cedar Point.

The management of SFWoA has done a terrific job turning around the park, even though they continue to be shafted by corporate when they need a new major attraction to be competitive.
