Posted at 5:51 PM EDT (2151 GMT)  Aug. 5th, 2004 -- On July 15, Robyn Freeman abandoned her 8 year-old child Aaron at Disneyland. Aaron was found later that day by a Disneyland security guard. Yesterday, Freeman plead not guilty to charges of child abuse.
Freeman was arrested Monday after a person who had seen her picture spotted her with her 11 year-old daughter. Aaron was taken in by relatives in Yucaipia, and Freeman's daughter is now in the care of Orange County social workers. Freeman continually gave thanks to God, and said he would reunite her with her children. Exactly why Freeman abandoned Aaron remains unknown, but indications are that Freeman did not intend the abandonment to be permanent. For more information, visit The Monterey Herald.
