News: Hersheypark attendance slips in 2003

Dec. 24th, 2003 -- In what seems to be a common theme this year, Hersheypark experienced a 3% drop in attendance for the 2003 season.

Like most parks, Hersheypark blames the unusually wet first-half of the summer for the reason that attendance dipped. Officials are hoping that their new Intamin Rocket Coaster, Storm Runner, will drive attendance into record numbers this upcoming season.
