I've been told about some of the horrible GP that attend this park, but luckily they must've stayed away when I visited in March 2003.

Thats, well, sad because those people wear those costumes to entertain kids, not to be laughed at and beat down by teens.

I've seen something like that happen before, but the charecter actually went after the guy after he was hit by him. The charecter had to be held back by the person that was escorting him through the park.

I see teenagers doing inappropriate dancing moves on several of the characters.. It's not that cool.. especially infront of the children..

All characters should have escorts and those escorts should be hard ass guys who can handle this kind of thing. They don't have to stand right with the characters. They could keep their distance and only come in if needed.

I mess with the ones at Universal. For example, me and my friend would pull the foam off Spongebob's costume. 'Nuff said.

First of all no one should mess with the costume people no matter what.you never know who or how big the person is.if i was this kids parents i make him say sorry on tv to him and ground him for like 2 years.teens need to learn respect for other people.they get mad when they arent respected.respect is earned not given.beating up on someone like this is just plain dumb.the kid need locked up for a while.

I dont know about visiting this park. It seems to draw some of the bad crowd out of Atlanta.

I dont see why anyone would want to do that. They are their for entertainment. Little children like to see Bugs Bunny and everyone else. Its susposed to be a family park.

I live a few miles from Six Flags Over GA, and I've been there several dozen times since 2000. The biggest problem this park has is the General Public.
Atlanta's overwhelmingly ignorant adult population seems to breed mean and exceptionally stupid children, all of whom descend on SFOG daily. While the park doesn't encourage violence, they perpetuate the problem by catering to the very element that causes the problems.
As long as SFOG continues to offer super-cheap ($45 - $50) season passes and giving away fully-inflated basketballs, they'll never be free of the "Six Flags Over FUBU" stigma. It's not about race, it's about culture (or a lack thereof).
