News: Man dies at British park

Aug. 25th, 2004 -- At around 10:15 local time, a 55 year-old man died at England's Pleasureland amusement park in Southport.

The man was trapped under one of the 17 cars on the Skyride cable car ride. The official cause of death was a heart attack, although authorities are unaware as to whether the man suffered a heart attack before or after he was hit by the car.

A special rescue unit was required to free the man from under the car. Safety and health inspectors are currently investigating the accident.
