News: The Claw ready to open at Dreamworld

Sep. 12th, 2004 -- The Claw, Dreamworld's newest thrill ride, will open this upcoming weekend. Park engineers recently tested the ride and are excited about their new ride.

The Claw is a Intamin Gyro Swing, which cost $6,000,000 (AUS). The high-flying ride seats fifty riders and inverts them. The park is expecting an attendance jump due to their latest extreme ride.
