Sep. 13th, 2004 -- Paramount's Kings Dominion season passholders got the inside scoop on the park's new 2005 attraction. In flyers mailed last week, the park announced the addition of "Tomb Raider: The Ride"...an attraction identical to the one at PKD's sibling park, Paramount's Kings Island. PKI installed "Tomb Raider: The Ride" for their 2002 season, and is one of the most immersive, heavily-themed attractions at any of the Paramount Parks. This will be PKD's latest ride to build on bringing the "magic of Hollywood" home to its parks around the country. Construction on "Tomb Raider: The Ride" has already begun and will be located in the "Congo" section of the park. Discuss this ride in ThrillNetwork's 2005 Construction Forum here.

Yes. Old Diamond Falls Spot. I wonder if they will have shrimp at the grand opening. Hasn't this been released already? Like, around March of this year? I got the flyer in the mail today and did not think much of it. I thought it was old news.
Either way good ride in Cincy. PKD has the advantage of being able to make it better based on observations of the current one.

Has it been confirmed that it will be EXACTLY the same? I'd heard word going around that it may not be inclosed, or at least not completly inclosed, and may be one of Huss's new floorless topspins and not a Giant Top Spin as is the one at PKI.

I have on good authority it WILL NOT occupy the former Diamond Falls spot -- seriously. It will be in Congo still, but not where Diamond Falls was - closer to Volcano.
