SANTA CLARA, Calif—(Sept. 21, 2004)—G'Day Mate! Paramount's Great America announces a new "down-under" addition to Australian-themed Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay for the 2005 season, promising to give guests triple the "splashin' good time" that only the Gold Coast can bring! The water park expansion is scheduled to open spring of 2005. While the details regarding the addition are still forthcoming, Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay promises to create a new world of family adventure including: - The area’s longest lazy river that offers in-water lounging in a relaxing environment!
- A huge billabong lagoon, filled with 150,000 gallons of water, set in a tropical environment, where families can swim, splash and float!
- A new changing facility for the whole family!
- New water slides!
Paramount's Great America, the only theme park in California to feature a water park inside a theme park for one admission price, is tripling its water park size and will cover over 11 acres. "Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay has entertained thousands of guests since opening in May 2004. We're looking forward to tripling the size of our water park for the 2005 season so that moms, dads and children of all ages can experience three times the fun," says Rod Rankin, senior vice president and general manager of Paramount's Great America. Guests who purchase a 2005 VIP Pass to Paramount's Great America will benefit in the following ways: - With the purchase of a 2005 VIP Pass, guests get the rest of the 2004 season for free and all of the 2005 season.
