News: Paramount Parks encourages online review

Posted at 12:32 PM EDT (1632 GMT)

Oct. 1st, 2004 -- With competition in theme parks growing fiercer every year, Paramount Parks is looking to get ahead.  By reaching a customer panel of 14,000 online participants and over 500,000 e-mail addresses of past visitors and potential customers, this survey poses a great way to efficiently make positive changes.

This survey prmarily focuses on asking customers about new ride development, upgrading, the use of discounts and coupons, as well as the effectiveness of advertising and televison commericals.  Many changes have been seen through this survey and will continue to be considered a "high priority" in what happens from year to year.

On average, Paramount collects between 1,000 and 3,500 surveys a year, depending on the number of parks consulted.  This number continues to grow on an annual basis.  By considering what customers are looking for in a theme park, Paramount hopes to better gauge what the clientele would like to see in upcoming visits.

If you would like to have a part in creating your park experience at Paramount, visit their website to take part in their survey.

Hmmm.... it seems that Paramount is great at giving surveys. They survey people to find out why they're dissatisfied with their home Paramount Park, and remedy the problem by adding new rides, attractions, and other amenities... to PKI.

^^ These surveys are not about park experience.

They are in regard to future rides/attractions.

I have been participating for 2 years now. Last year they polled us about the Italian Job and next year they are putting 2 in at PKI and PCW.

So it's a good thing.
