Tassaud's Group, which owns theme parks such as Alton Towers, is seeking to buy out the ownership of one of the most popular Ferris Wheels in the world, the London Eye. Tassuad's currently holds a 33% share in ownership of the London Eye. British Airways, which owns another third of the Ferris Wheel, is rumored to soon sell their portion of the ownership. Tassaud's is also looking to turn theme parks into destination resorts. They would like to build a casino near Thorpe Park, to capitalize on its location. They are also planning hotels at Thorpe Park, Chessington Worlds of Adventures and Heide Park in Soltau, Germany. For more information, see: ThisisLondon
