News: Former employee sues Great Adventure

Posted at 1:44 AM EST (0644 GMT)

Dec. 6th, 2004 -- Robert Fine, a former employee of Six Flags Great Adventure, claims the park falsified his records of departure. He said he quit, but said the park says he was fired.

He claims the park wanted him to look like a "troublesome employee."

Fine, 67, said he came forward and told members of the press about their treatment of non-U.S. employees. He said the park defamed him.

In 2002, workers from Brazil, Spain and Costa Rica said recruiting agents misled them, failing to tell them they would not be working full-time before May and after September.

Six Flags said they could not comment.

I don't think that this will be too much on them, they can easily get this one off their backs.

Weird. I hope he doesn't sue them so much that I get a pay cut.
Maybe they fired him before he said he quitted.

Sounds like Great Adventure is on the Wal-Mart employment plan. LOL!

This isn't a big deal. How much could he possibly sue for? Just kick him out of the country and send him back to his homeland. The idiot probably couldn't read where it said seasonal work. Case dismissed.
