News: Holiday World sells Skeeball on eBay

Dec. 8th, 2004 -- SANTA CLAUS, IN-----For the next week, bidders on eBay will have the opportunity to buy a vintage skeeball machine from Holiday World.

“We’re replacing our skeeball machines with brand new models for the 2005 season,” says Holiday World & Splashin' Safari president Will Koch. “We thought we’d put one of the Santa Claus Land-era games on eBay just in time for Christmas and see what happens.”

The skeeball machine currently offered on eBay measures 14 feet long and includes nine balls. The machine is in working condition and has been well maintained since it was purchased for Santa Claus Land from Skee-ball Incorporated in 1982. The park’s name was changed to Holiday World in 1984.
