$59.75 is way too expensive for a theme park for one day. This is ridiculous! Just a few years ago ticket prices were raised to $50 at the Florida parks. Now they're pushing $60.

Ouch.

$60? That is too much money IMO. Way too much. This is why I don't go to Florida very often.

That is too much. The only park that could push 60$ is MK. They got so many rides, 60 bucks is pry okay. But at SW? The only must rides are Kraken and JTA. They havn't gotten anything big recently. I know they keep changing the shows and right now their redoing Dolphin Stadium (although the show still runs), they really need something big, preferably a B&M hyper.

This is insane!

And it's even worse that it's at Sea World!! Like Montu Man said, it only has like two rides and all shows. It's not worth it!

I guess they are just trying to push people getting a seasons pass so they can get people to come back.

There is know no chance of me ever going into that park. There is no way that two rides and some animals you can see at the local zoos and aquariums is worth $60.

"SeaWorld Orlando is raising ticket prices to compete..."??? Since when do companies raise prices to compete, I thought the idea was to be the best bargain for people, not to see which company can rip people off the most. Sadly, there will still be plenty of dumbass tourists who will gladly pay $60 for themself and each member of their family to do stuff you could do considerably cheaper somewhere else.

Raising ticket prices helps them compete by bringing in more money allowing new attractions to draw people in. If the other parks are getting the extra income, Sea World needs to get it too.

The Season pass in comparison is worht it though. Maybe a combination Unniversal and Anhueser Bush pass would be good.

I get what you're saying Phil, I just miss the days when businesses lowered prices to get more sales to raise their profit, not simply raise prices.
