Jan. 13th, 2005 -- A judge has approved a plan that would allow Conneaut Lake Park to open without amassing additional debt. County judge Anthony Vardaro said that the park can open this spring as long as it doesn't borrow more money or leases property without court permission.
However, Vardaro has asked the park's board of directors to make modifications to the plan by the beginning of April. Vardaro stated that he disagreed with some aspects of the plan and specifically asked for more details on how the amusement park planned on paying off $2 million in debt. See The Centre Daily for more information.
