News: Stunt Track opening on schedule

Mar. 8th, 2005 -- Last week, a fire at a Utah warehouse damaged or destroyed parts for Paramount's Kings Island's new roller coaster, The Italian Job: Stunt Track. However, park officials say that the fire will not upset the ride's opening date.

Among the pieces of the ride in the warehouse were the coaster's cars, but it is unclear how much damage the parts sustained as a result of the fire. The park will open April 9. Stunt Track is scheduled to debut at a later date.
