Jan. 16th, 2004 -- For two teenagers, a school trip to Thorpe Park ended up being a nightmare. The two kids were sitting in a gondola of the Zodiac Enterprise ride when things went wrong. It is believed that a support snapped. As a result, the gondola the two teenagers were in was left dangling in the air. Fortunately, the children weren't seriously injured.
All charges against the two managers have been dropped. However, legal procedings against the park itself are still active. The park has stated that it accepts full responsibility for the accident.
