News: Powder Keg can open after minor changes

Posted at 6:34 PM EST (2334 GMT)

Mar. 24th, 2005 -- An empty Powder Keg train bumped into a train with passengers at less than 5 mph on Tuesday. The brakes allowed the train to continue into the station at the low speed.

Even though the incident was extremely minor, Silver Dollar City is making modifications to ensure that it doesn't happen again. The official Grand Opening for Powder Keg is set for April 7th.
