News: Large fight breaks out at Bell's Park

Posted at 3:34 PM EDT (1934 GMT)

Apr. 5th, 2005 -- Sheriff's deputies said too many teenagers were unsupervised on Saturday night, which lead to a fight breaking out. One juvenile was taken into custody. Some parents of the teenagers say police handled the situation wrong by using gas to clear the park. However, no one was injured.

Park owner Robbie Bell told local reporters that he wants his guests to have fun and be safe. One amusement park, Lake Winnepesaukah, in Chattanooga, will not allow anyone under the age of 18 in the park without supervision.

This is my home park. It is sad this made news here at TN. This is not the first time that the fairgrounds here has had problems.. I hope they dont decide to do what Lake Winnepesaukah did.

I don't care if it is bad news or good news it is news for Bell's. The fights didn't really get out of hand but the cops were called in and some action was taken. Either way Bell's is back in the news!
