News: Worlds of Adventure loses sheriffs

Jan. 17th, 2004 -- Starting this season, Six Flags Worlds of Adventure will no longer have the services of the Geauga County Sheriff's Department.

Six Flags didn't make the choice, the Sheriff's Department withdrew due to growing liability concerns. They started patroling the park back in 1994. Six Flags says they are committed to maintaining a law enforcement prescence at the park.
