News: Como Town amusement park set to open

Apr. 26th, 2005 -- The new Como Town amusement park will open by June 1 near Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN. Como Town will feature several new interactive rides and games that have never been seen in the Midwest.

The park is geared towards a younger crowd that the new owners feel are often neglected by the larger amusement parks. Other than rides and games, the park will feature food vendors, face painters, a caricaturist, and special birthday party areas.

Como Town Amusement Park replaces the former O'Neil Amusement Park, which had operated at that location for the previous 55 years.
