    Super Bowl NFL 2/5/12

    Super Bowl Sunday.

Giants at New England Patriots in Indy.

I think the book is already pretty much written for Tom Brady, Hoodie, and the Pats. Unfortunately one of the chapters, one of the wins was at the expense of my Philadelphia EAGLES. They might as well write a last chapter. I select the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl. The Giants got some great momentum towards the end of the regular season and into the Playoffs. They seemed to have turn on that switch. We'll see what happens.

If the Giants do win it has been noted the last time the Giants won (2008 Super Bowl for 2007 season) the Philadelphia Phillies in their next season went on to win the World Series (2008) .

I honestly have no interest in this years Superbowl. I definitely don't want spygate to win, I don't think Brady is as good as the team around him makes him look, and I don't think the Giants season puts them in a position where they necessarily "deserve" the win. I might watch Beauty and the Beast in 3D instead.

This Super Bowl isn't a big deal to me. Honestly, I should have tried to hit a near by theme park since it would be empty today -_-

I'm looking forward to the game, although I don't have a favorite team playing this year. All I hope for with the Super Bowl is a good game where both teams play to the best of their abilities resulting in a great game of football.

Funny how those who don't have their team in the Super Bowl this year is not looking forward to the game.lol I think it is going to be a very good game and unlike last time they met at the Super Bowl, Eli isn't that much of an underdog anymore. The game will be close. Of course I'm rooting for the Giants, but it may come down to who has the ball last.

I might hang with the smokers when Madonna comes out. I like the sound of the Patriots 13-3 record. Let's see if it'll go to 14-3.

I watched little tidbits of NBC's Bob Costas' Olympic marathon like hosting. I've only caught the stories involving the Pats. Otherwise I was watching Flyers-Rangers.

If the Giants would have been knocked out earlier like Green Bay would Eli have got the MVP that Rodgers got? I'll give Eli that. I wasn't calling him boy-boi like in the past.

Did you ride any coasters this year Martin?

Manningham caught all those balls in 4th while all those Patriots dropped one. Was a lil late there Branch. I'm glad that Pats had the ball last but it didn't turn out to be. Still followed the tightness of the game though those were none of my teams.

In conclusion of 2011 season I recall turnovers kill, the high powered offenses didn't pull it off, and you got to have some defense and health going for you always.

when the Giants won in 2008 the Phillies went on the win the 2008 World Series. I'll watch and see what my 2012 Philadelphia Phillies do.

Neither of them were my teams, either, but I watched and enjoyed the game. I was pulling for the Giants but would still have considered it a good game no matter which team won.

I had to be a Giants fan for the day. Eli is basically family. This has been a terrible football season, I'm glad it is over, and went out on an upbeat note.

Peyton has to come back now.

It took me a couple hours later. Half a world away Antoine celebrated. Congratulations man.

Oh yes I celebrated big time too. Then I went to work and of course rubbed it in too. It was a great game. I knew it would be pretty close. Honestly, the points difference should have been bigger in favor of the Giants. But they had two crucial penalties in the game that negated 1st downs close to the red zone. Hopefully they work on those penalty problems during the offseason. One thing I like about Eli is that he always seems to defy every statistic out there. People can talk all day about where he comes up short in, but at the end of the day, he leaves you scratching your head. Back in 2007, the Patriots (I'll admit) played better in the Super Bowl. But at the end, Eli came through. Before the post season even started, most people wrote off the Giants. But again they defied logic and got it done. Moral of the story: NEVER bet against a Manning....

This probably was the most amusing moments of the game for me. It was a great game. I enjoyed the halftime show, the commercials and the game!

Yeah that was pretty funny. He tried to stop. I don't think he expected the hole to open up that big. But regardless I would have said go for it though. Although the Giants could have controlled the game all the way to the end, a field goal is never guaranteed.

It looked like he was taking a number two. Was that the Patriots' endzone?

I thought DeSean Jackson was a bit more clever running sideways before entering the endzone at New Meadowlands Stadium. I can't believe since the 2008 win the Giants were just 4-7 versus the EAGLES.

I don't play fantasy but I recognize the names Welker, Branch though I really don't watch them on tv. Gisele was right. That was on them to catch the ball and they didn't in the 4th.

I sure hope he does. Like Antoine said- never bet against a Manning. It would appear that, between hits on his crack pipe, that Jim Irsay is doing just that. As things are right now, Peyton is still lacking arm strength, and that's the only thing he's missing for a return. If that comes back, then it's game on!

There's a huge push going on for him to return to Tennessee and play for the Titans. Since the #18 Colts jersey is referred to as the "Indianapolis Tuxedo." I wonder if this

    Would be a "Tenessee Tuxedo?"

I'd say that wherever he goes, lok for his jersey number to be 16, especially if it's the Titans. He retired #16 at UT, and not using 18 would be a way of giving Jim Irsay the middle finger.

I actually fell asleep at the start of the 4th quarter. I see the end was more exciting than the 1st half. Madonna was great even if she lip-synced.

4th quarter was where it's at. Eli's 4th quarter drive has been a trademark this season. It's a game to eat minutes and try to keep him off the field.

I wanted to see the LMFAO robot at halftime but he would have fell down those bleacher steps.

The best part of the halftime show had to be Madonna riding her army of Romans. I seriously couldn't stop laughing about it until the 2:00 minute warning

Your laughter carried over the Clint Eastwood commercial as we were all begging for the 2nd Half to finally start? I don't think Clint would have liked that. Chrysler got a key spot for their one spot.

I cringed as that one tight rope dancer did his thing next to Madonna. Would not have wanted to fall to damage the goods.
